Graduation is slowly creeping up on us. Whether you are the graduate running towards that stage to grab your diploma or the graduate who is going out kicking and screaming, it's time to start bidding adieu to dear old UGA and Athens (for those of you not lucky enough to stay). But in Peach style, there's no need to not go out without a BANG. So here are five things every Peach must do before driving your U-Haul out of the Classic City...
1. Jump In The Fountain
If you haven't dipped your toes in the Hearty Field fountain, you won't want to miss out on this exciting adventure.
2. Late Night Sub at Lay-Z
Eating cheap (yet delicious) food from a mildly concerning location is a right of passage for most UGA students. So if you find your stomach growling come two AM, make a pit stop at the Lay-Z Shopper and enjoy a late night Athens past time.
3. Last Hoorah at the Dining Hall
Take a trip down memory lane and buy yourself a meal ticket. Maybe call up your old freshman roomies and reminisce on the days where you thought you knew everything.
4. See a Concert at Georgia Theatre
If you have yet to experience a concert at the Georgia Theatre, Don't start packing until you do. Even if you've never heard of the band playing, take a chance, grab a great group of friends and buy a ticket. The experience itself will be well worth it.
5. Walk Under The Arches
You've got your diploma, and you've tossed that cap, now it's time to finally say goodbye to the old gal. Group your best friends and take your walk through the arches. It'll be one of the most memorable experiences of your 4-8 year career as a student at UGA.
